He is tall, lean, mostly black and white tabby marking on his legs tom with white splotched muzzle, long white whiskers, and light blue blind eyes with faint scars around them. First appearance, you'll notice he's not just tall, but towers over others. Sitting next to you, or walking by you, most cats still barely come to his chin. He is skinny, but perhaps thinner than he should be looking- more 'malnourished' as his frame has a very lean, and bit still lanky build. As he kit he hung around the medicine den a lot, the innocent interactions with Mintpaw (Rachii~) stole his heart in a crush he'd never know, and not just for being a medicine cat but she left his life not long after that. Just a kit and already the second (after his mother) of many he would lose; though he didn't it know it yet, like the ones he loved most were cursed. His more prominent concern was his blindness- at first there was some vision, then blurry shapes, then finally nothing. Darkness became a part of him by the time he became an apprentice. Nebulous was born with some blurry vision that didn't improve like his siblings or all the other kits. It stayed blurry and those around him feared it would only grow worse overtime and kept a close watch on him. Nebulous-sight dared to ask "what does 'going blind' mean?" and those around him knew it was inevitable, but all seem to hesitant to come up with an answer. Finally one brave soul gave him an honest, simple explanation. "Close one eye little kit, you no longer see anything not even darkness through that closed eye. To be blind is to see no longer see anything, even when your eyes are open" Easy enough for a kit to understand, but he still didn't panic as much, no the fear started small and grew as he became afraid his vision would fail. Everyone made a big deal about needed sight to everything, and overhearing cats talking about how he won't be able to see the clan's waterfalls or wildflowers didn't help either. He wanted to know what beauty looked like just like everyone else, to see and do everything, like everyone else. The kit sneaked out of camp, but of course Cloudysky(Youngwriterme) see the lost kit clueless as where he is even going, and attempt to take him back. Nebulous-sight prove to be a bit of a thorn in the side and show his determination as he does everything he can to run away and insists he must see the waterfalls and wildflowers. When they ask him why, he refuses to say first but breaks and tell them he has to see them before he goes blind. He tells Cloudysky his vision is already blurry and finally admits he just simply wants to see the flower because even he fears his vision is failing and he tells them they can't understand nor can he explain why he's so emotional about it but wants the last things he see to be the things that everyone calls 'beautiful' and 'wonderful' and persuades Cloudysky to go with them to escort him and go straight back to camp. While they are out, they are ambushed with Nebulous-sight getting scratched across the eyes and saved by Cloudysky as they fight off Haze and save him but also get hurt in the process. His wounds are severe and despite weeks of spiderweb blindfold and the diligent work of their medicine cat, it significantly worsen his sight and ends up completely blind. Nebulous-sight is angered and frustrated with himself and the fact Haze is not found by later patrol and goes unpunished while he and Cloudysky are the ones who have to suffer the results of his actions. The harm that also came to Cloudysky makes him scorn everything including himself for not preventing it. Despite being the kit and Cloudsky the warrior, Nebulous swears to protect Cloudysky akin to a bodyguard and makes it oath to one day get his own justice and justice for all of those who are wronged as well. Nebulouspaw feels like he's disappointed his leader and mentor Whitesmoke/star (єяяσяιѕ/errors.) and does his best to impress her like the second mom and ironically like his birth mother - right before his warrior ceremony - he'd lose her too. The following medicine cat apprentice, friend and Cloudysky's half-sister Featherpaw (weep.) would also disappear, what luck. He and Polargale's warrior induction is done by Whitestar's successor Hawkfeather/star (Whitemuzzle.) and grandfather to Cloudysky's half-siblings. He blames Polargale's loss and her unborn kits to the father of them and her mentor Ratway who always seemed up to shady mercenary stuff. He not his siblings (to his knowledge) never sought out his father but did meet Syndrome-enigma and learn of their other shared half-siblings with a passive friendship to them as he gets very attached to his family and friends shame they keep dying but does still takes a back seat to the rules when necessary. This is displayed when the great tragedy of 'The Flood' befell the Survival Clans effectively wiping out generations and most of the clans along with a second resurgence of Ripple Cough- his WaterClan half-brother Vanishingtrick comes to him first of all their half-siblings and the other clans. Vanish having been closest to his sister Crescentpool the only other sibling to live past warriorhood and see the fall of their clan with him bonded well with Nebulous who had lost many by this point in time. The unlikely duo truly became brothers then both thinking themselves very faithful, 'proper' warriors of the warrior code and all its rules. At least until Fairystar let his own personal problems blinded him into kicking out all the remaining survival clans cats that would cause a shift in Vanishingtrick. Although his WaterClan brother agreed to peacefully leave both regret choosing to abide by it and months of rebuilding and strengthen their faith started to unravel even for Nebulous-sight who questions the 'just' and 'fairness' of the decisions. Nebulous-sight's personality has become heavily influenced by impartiality due to the experience he had as a kit, and is determined to strive victory in matters dealing with it, or rather when he see a wrong than needs to be corrected, it becomes almost an obsession to correct it and will take matters into his own paws if it doesn't correct itself. Luckily Nebulous-sight is very logical and this is balance by his intuition and has compassion and a natural instinct to protect those around him that's only gotten stronger over time. That said, he is severely afflicted when someone betrays his trust, and even lying to him will not be taken lightly. He has no issue with harshly calling out others and holding them accountable - there is no escaping getting what you deserve with him and will result in long-term consequences. As harsh as he is, all damage can be rectified sometimes just by learning a lesson will cause him to lighten up and allow things to return to good terms. One virtue of all this is Nebulous-sight is brutally honest making him a good person to go to when needed, though a bit hard to be friends with as he won't lie to someone to make them feel better. He is careful not to say anything unless requested usually, so he dodges bringing unintentional offense /sometimes/. To add on to this, he does not appreciate gossip and refuses to even listen to rumors and would much rather go straight up to a cat and find out the facts than rely on hearsay - which just means if you hear anything from him, it probably is true. Unless he's been lied to - which will result in problems between him and the one who lied to him, but most cats don't want to go through the ordeal of angering him. Judgmental is an understatement of how he is and his black-and-white view of the world. He hates to admits the 'grey' areas of things and rarely will let go about what is right and wrong, but talking to him and challenging him can led to some negotiating and compromise. He is honest to others and himself, including judging others and himself. It's a little harder than it sounds and in his goals to be justice it self, he forgets to judge whether he is doing the right thing or if it is working. As a 'force of justice' and trying to be absolutely fair, he can lose himself and become a ruthless, merciless cat who forget that he doesn't have to take an 'eye for an eye' view of everything. Perhaps it's the inner PI cat in him, but taken out of the heat of the moment he can be talked down into a proper fair compromise that isn't as radical. Nebulous-sight sometimes needs to be kept in check, but at least he is mindful of how he judges or criticizes others and ensuring he keeps a balanced view. Nebulous-sight represents those who can lose their way because justice failed them in someway; he also serves as a voice for them as well. He may be blind, but his sense and ability seem extremely heighten in compensation and adaption for growing up with his blindness - which is fine to him. He's come to accept his blindness and believes one's vision will is clearest only when they can see past all the distractions and look directly into their own heart, and the hearts of others. Nebulous is pansexual, panromantic, and polyamorous, being affectionate to anyone he considers a friend which isn't hard to achieve and having little boundaries with himself receiving most actions positively while being careful and respectful of others who aren't the same. His direct nature makes things clear without always having to be said but isn't bothered to do so if it calls for it. His name 'Nebulous' was given due to the uncertain of what his future would be like, it means literally "in the form of a cloud or haze; hazy." Ironically, his attacker was named Haze and his childhood savior and later second love is named Cloudysky sharing the theme of ambiguity. Nebulous-sight is one of 23 cats based on the Tarot card; his card is Justice. Nebulous-sight is the son of Uta (of PI) and Vadima (of SummerClan).
